Cheers to You and Your Success In 2024

We don’t care what TIME Magazine says, our Person of the Year is YOU. This is why we’re dedicating our final Impact Job newsletter of the year to you and all of your success in 2024.

How, you ask? By providing comprehensive reflection questions that you can use to gain clarity on the past year. This is part one — in our first newsletter of 2025, we’ll send prompts to help you set intentions for the new year.

But for now, let’s rewind.

First up, let’s reflect on your professional growth:

  1. What skills have I developed or improved this year?

  2. In what areas have I shown the most significant professional growth?

  3. What professional development opportunities did I pursue, and how did they impact my career?

  4. What challenges did I overcome, and what did I learn from them?

Now let’s celebrate your wins:

  1. What are my most significant professional accomplishments this year?

  2. How did I contribute value to my team, organization, or industry?

  3. Which projects am I most proud of, and why?

  4. Did I meet the professional goals I set for myself at the beginning of the year?

Lastly, let’s look at your job satisfaction:

  1. Am I still passionate about my current career path?

  2. To what extent does my current role align with my long-term career objectives?

  3. What aspects of my work bring me the most satisfaction?

  4. Are there areas of my professional life that feel misaligned or unfulfilling?

You’ve worked hard this year and deserve to celebrate your professional and personal wins! As we head into some well-earned time off, don’t forget to give yourself a pat on the back for a job well done in 2024.

Bummer of the Week:

The US Senate released a new report that accuses Amazon of ignoring worker safety in a push for extreme productivity. The report says that Amazon workers live with severe injuries and the company is not adhering to its own safety protocols.
