The Image & Wardrobe Audit Every Leader Needs This Fall
You’ve grown. Your voice is stronger. Your goals are bigger. But is your image still reflecting who you were… instead of who you are now?
I’m Bria Johnson, founder of I.C.O.N.I.C With Style™, where I style high-achieving women for seasons of visibility, leadership, and transformation.
This 5-Point Style Audit is your first step: a quick, powerful checklist to spot what’s holding your image back and what to shift now to lead with presence.

It’s Time For a Fall Career Reset

Whattup, job seekers! Labor Day is behind us, so you know what that means…pack away those white pants and break out your infinity scarves. While you’re at it, go get yourself a pumpkin-spiced latte and press play on Practical Magic.
We don’t care what the weather app says, IT’S FALLLLLL. (Yes, we know it’s not TECHNICALLY fall yet, but just let us have this one.)
In our humble opinion, September 1 is the second New Year, so it’s time to set goals like it. Ring ring, your fall career reset is calling!

Here are the ingredients you need for the perfect fall career reset:
Goal refresh sesh: When was the last time you set goals for your career and personal life? Do they still align with you today? Look over each goal and decide if it’s something you still want to pursue or if it could use some tweaking. If your old goals don’t align anymore, add new ones for this season of your career.
Audit alignment: Is your current role in alignment with your values and goals? If not, what’s off about it? Take some time to journal about this and think through your options. If you feel out of alignment, can changes at your current job bring you back, or is it time for a fresh start somewhere else?
Materials update: We know you probably haven’t looked at your resume or portfolio since before the summer. Dust off your materials and give them a good update. And for god’s sake, update your LinkedIn account.
Make new connections: Fall is a GREAT networking season, so get out there, baby! Plan to attend a few conferences in the next few months. You never know who you could rub elbows with!
Invest in growth: take a course, look into a new certification, sign up for a workshop, expand your skills…you get it. Channel that back-to-school energy and get to learning.
Give back: summer travel is over, so it’s the perfect time to focus on your community. Bonus points if you organize a charity event through your office!

This fall reset is a quick way to feel reinvigorated about your career. It can also be revealing if you’re not in the right position. If that’s the case for you, we’ve got the latest and greatest Impact Jobs on our job board now. Scroll down to start applying.

Win of the Week:
Atlanta United star Brad Guzan teamed up with over 700 Mercedes-Benz USA employees and their families at the company’s Labor Day Cookout to build furniture for the Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta. The effort will support local families in need and help replace furniture lost in a warehouse fire this past June.
Bummer of the Week:
Are federal labor unions in trouble? According to NPR, Trump is trying to decimate them one-by-one, starting with the Department of Veteran Affairs, whose union was given just a few days to exit federal buildings. Read the latest development below.
