Win of the Week:
Kentucky-based GE Appliances is supporting veterans through their newly launched nonprofit, the Good Things, For Life Foundation. The organization’s mission is to deepen the company’s investment in the communities where their employees work and live, and its first project is a collaboration with Building Homes For Heroes.
Bummer of the Week:
In the tech world, employees are demanding more transparency when it comes to how their employers, namely AI platforms, are working with the US government. Things came to a head after the US carried out airstrikes over Iran and the Pentagon blacklisted Anthropic when the company refused to allow its technology to be used for mass surveillance or fully autonomous weapons.
