And how do you protect your well-being and finally find some real mother-loving work-life balance?

Seek Out Growth Opportunities

A major reason for work dissatisfaction is feeling like you’ve reached a dead end and have no room for growth. However, your current company may offer more opportunities than you realize. Speak to your supervisor about trainings, mentorships, new responsibilities, and other professional development personalities.

Develop Collaborative Relationships

Feeling a sense of belonging at your job is important, but most workplaces have become disconnected. You can help spearhead a sense of community by reaching out to your coworkers, collaborating on projects, or creating social outlets like a book club.

Maintain Work-Life Balance (for real)

Your entire life shouldn’t be your job. We’ll say it louder for the people in the back: your.entire.life.shouldn’t.be.your.job. Clock out on time and invest in your life outside of work - get a hobby, will ya?

Set and Celebrate Meaningful Work Goals

If you’re overwhelmed with major responsibilities, break them down into smaller goals. As you accomplish them, celebrate each little win. Celebrating your wins more often will help you feel a sense of achievement and like you’re moving in the right direction.
